I’m not a printmaker, but I do screenprint and lithography, can I apply?

No, this open call is especially conceived for artists who work with etching, other intaglio techniques or relief printing (woodcut/linocut). The studio is not equipped for other techniques.

Can I submit digital work?

Yes, as long as it can be printed as an intaglio plate, for example copperplate or polymer photogravure is ok.

I can’t upload the images or finalize my application?

Technical problems may happen. Please try again from another browser or device. That usually solves the problem.

I want to apply but I cannot come to Milan during those months?

No, this opportunity is open only for two weeks between June and December 2024

How does it work for the winner?

He or she will be notified via email. The residency dates will be arranged between the artist and the studio.
